Our Special Guest Speaker this month was Bijan R. Kian, member of the Board of Directors and chairman of the Audit Committee of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank). The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is the official export credit agency of the United States. Ex-Im Bank's mission is to assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets. Ex-Im Bank enables U.S. companies — large and small — to turn export opportunities into real sales.Ex-Im Bank does not compete with private sector lenders but provides export financing products that fill gaps in trade financing.

Traditionally AmCham Azerbaijan organizes Annual Independence Day Picnic for its members, their families and employees. The event will be officially opened by United States Ambassador and will feature Posting Colours by US Navy Marines.  

 

 

AmCham ICT Committee had its meeting on the 13th of May in Azel office. In the beginning of the meeting the chairman of the committee Igor Yakovenko greeted all members. Afterwards Vadim Yakovlev, certified ERP/CRM specialist of AZEL (Azerbaijan Electronics) company made a presentation on “How to increase your company’s competitiveness by use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems”.

 

 

In our Health, Safety and Environment committee meeting Anvar Zalibekov, Schneider Electric, chairman of the committee, made a presentation about Reducing Risk of Electrical Risk Hazard.  The presentation described a device which reduces the risk of electrical risk hazard.
