What is AmCham Azerbaijan?
The American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan is the leading and the most influential foreign business association in the country. Representing over 180 member companies AmCham Azerbaijan effectively advocates the trade and investment interests of its members. As a member of AmCham, your company has access to a vast network of business information and contacts in Azerbaijan and in the US government, as well as valuable information on US businesses across Europe through ECACC (European Council of American Chambers of Commerce) and US Chamber of Commerce. AmCham keeps its members up to date on the current situation and latest changes in the legislation as well as general state of business in AzerbaijanThrough our teamwork with the US Embassy and the Department of Commerce's office of Foreign Commercial Service, as new businesses arrive or contemplate doing business in Azerbaijan, members are first to learn of the opportunities. AmCham supports the collective interests of its members by proposing changes to improve the environment for both local and international businesses in Azerbaijan. Members have the opportunity to represent their companies on one or more relevant committees in the areas of Tax, Customs, Banking/ Finance/Insurance, ICT, Human Resources/Labor, HSE and Tourism and input their company's stance on issues or problems. Suggestions are compiled and put forward to the relevant ministry, and often go on to become current legislation. To date AmCham committees have contributed to the processes of amending much of Azerbaijan's legislation, achieving a much more conducive environment in which to do business.

No. Any legal entity, branch or representative office of a legal entity is eligible to be affiliated with AMCHAM as either Regular or Associate, subject to the Board of Directors’ determination of good standing in the community.
How can we pay our membership fees?
Fees may be paid either through a bank transfer or in cash in Azeri Manats according to the exchange rate of the date of payment.
